How long does the outpatient addiction treatment program last?

The length of the outpatient program varies by patient.  As addiction is a chronic disease, some type of maintenance therapy could last for months or even years.  The important part is we want to talk that long road with our patients and help them achieve durable sobriety.

Why combine primary care with addiction treatment?

Drug and alcohol dependency is taxing to the human body, and patients who are addicted require specialized medical care. We understand this, and we want to build relationships with our patients and serve as their medical home. We offer treatment for dependence-related illnesses as well as whatever else may come up.

Ensemble Recovery also offers traditional primary care for our patients, providing a full range of internal medicine services. Visit our primary care page to learn more.

If I already have a primary care doctor, how do I switch to Ensemble Recovery?

You do not have to switch.  We are happy to work with our patient’s personal primary care doctor.

What is medication-assisted treatment?

Our approach to medication-assisted treatment allows prevents our patients from getting high, even if they use their opioid of choice. We want our patients to regain a normal state of mind, free of drug-induced highs and lows. Vivitrol frees them from being consumed by thoughts about their next high, so our patients can focus on working through our intensive outpatient (IOP) addiction treatment program.
